Milton Bowens is an award winning artist, and educator in the Twin Rivers School District of Sacramento. His passion is to keep the arts alive and a vital part of public education as a tool to build self esteem among the youth. Milton’s work combines art and African American history to create collages which inspire young people to learn more about African American history and culture.
