Award-winning local artist and teacher Gayle Rappaport-Weiland hosts this mini interview with Board Member and award winning actor, Robert Hayes. The Rocklin Community Theatre provides a broad range of programs which provide excellent theatrical experiences for all ages of residents of Placer County in the historic Finnish Temperance Hall. The RCT produces a yearly season of at least six shows. Shows feature children, high schoolers, and adults. RCT produces both musical theatre standards like South Pacific and Oklahoma!, and “new classics” like Jekyll and Hyde and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
In addition to producing a yearly season of shows that showcase local talent, RCT offers classes for children, teens, and adults. Classes focus on skills, like acting, singing, and dancing. Students develop performance abilities, make new friends, and build self-confidence.

Jon Stevenson’s inspiration for Trumpette was found after adopting his son Nicky. Having worked over 10 years in the men’s fashion industry, it was clear to Jon that high fashion was not tailored toward little boys. He began designing onesies for Nicky. After moving to Sacramento, Jon focused on reinventing Trumpette by creating innovative baby socks. Trumpette combines high-quality materials with hip designs to create the ultimate baby socks.

Recognized as one of the world’s most prominent California landscape artists, Gregory Kondos has won numerous prizes and has works in permanent collections of many museums, including the Yosemite Museum, where he has been a member of the Artist-in-Residence Program since 1989.
